San Diego, CA - The San Diego Business Journal has published the annual list of the 100 fastest growing companies in San Diego. This year MyOffice, Inc. was noted as number 46.

The Journal stated, " We start our process early in the spring, asking for questionnaires and documentation from companies eager to earn a spot on our list of the fastest-growing companies. We receive hundreds of responses from entrepreneurs eager to land
a spot on the list. And not everyone makes the list.

To earn consideration, the business must be based in San Diego County. Moreover, the business must be privately held — and independent — it can’t be a division or subsidiary of a public, or private, company. Each qualifying company must have generated revenues of at least $200,000 in 2004. We then verify the financial information supplied by each company, backing the financial details of each company’s business operations in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Liz Wiedemann, the Business Journal’s senior researcher (now our retail reporter), then spends many weeks crunching the data in the questionnaires, which is then used to place the companies on the list.
It’s an effort that requires plenty of attention to detail and
cross-checking. But in the end, the final list is a resource of great importance in terms of reflecting strength and diversity of the business community.

As I noted last year, the 100 companies on this list represent the best and brightest when it comes to reflecting the tenacity of our business men and women."

Camp Pendleton, CA - Entrepreneurs from throughout Southern California will trade their business suits for military fatigues in a Feb. 21 joint operation between The Entrepreneur Organization and Camp Pendleton.

The San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles chapters of The Entrepreneur Organization will attend the day-long event designed to teach military leadership principles to business leaders. Survival courses, exercises and tours will give men and women first-hand experiences in the day of the life of a U.S. Marine to understanding strategies to impact their business environments.

Shaun Alger, CEO/COO of MyOffice and President of the San Diego Chapter, worked with Marine Corps leaders to organize what he describes as “a once in a lifetime opportunity.” “The purpose of this event is to educate our members who run local companies in the strategies that our military leaders use to manage people, organize process and maximize resources,” says Alger. “It's incredible to see what they are able to accomplish, and learn how we can make our businesses better, faster, more competitive.”

Major Gen. John M. Paxton Jr. will present a keynote address to the attendees during an evening dinner and recognition ceremony. Paxton assumed duties as the commanding general of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton in August 2006,
